My Friend Chris Tuten does test for Nitto... If anyone is not familiar with him, His 10.5 outlaw fox is pictured a lot in MM&FF and 5.0 MM. From what he has told me, Mickey Thompson's ET streets are going to have some competition.

Can you have Chris tell Nitto they need to make a 305/20? :pepper:

So how much for the Nt05R in 285/40/18 and the NT05 275/40/18

I think I may give that a try for my 500 so long as the NT05R out back can still handle the twisties and high speed runs?

Here are the links with our current mail order pricing on both models.

The NT05R does have better high speed stability when compared to other drag radials so it will do better if not the best than most when cornering . However, the NT05R is a drag radial and is designed to go straight.

Lastly, will they ever offer the NT05 in a 285/40/18?

This size is in consideration for the NT05 Max Performance line but at this time there is no official word on whether or not it will be produced.

Thanks Matt, please update us if they do build a 285/40/18

With the 00 tread wear rating, the NT05R should last anywhere from 2K miles to 5K miles like the BFG T/A Drag Radial.

ok cool, I thought I saw they were rated the same on tread wear.
I have never really kept track of the mileage though with my BFGs for some reason so I wasnt sure how much I was getting out of them.
And Thanks for the info. Ill call you guys tomorrow or monday since my local tire shop is giving me a 3 days-2weeks time frame to get them to the shop :bored:....
How long do you guys usually take to get the tires to us? Im guessing a few days since they are in stock at your warehouses?
 thanks for your help matt!

Right now we have 4 tires available out of our AZ distribution center so lead time to you in CA. is only 2-3 business days

Give us a call tomorrow at 1.888.459.4080 when you're ready to get the ball rolling. This is the fastest way to process your order. Just make sure to mention to the agent you speak with that you are a member here so SVTP receives credit for the sale.

Thank you for the opportunity at your business.

Sick car. You should post some bigger pics and details. Looks very sharp!

Sweet, finally something for the 19" wheels. Only problem is that 345 is 27.36" tall . Not sure if the sidewall technology they speak of would support a 305 or 315/30-19 series tire . Sure would be nice though.

As you know, the NT05R is not produced in the 305/35-18 size. The next best size option for you to run is 285/40-18. This size is about 0.5" taller in overall diameter and 0.75" narrower when compared to your current 305/35-18's.

I have 275s up front, so a 285 in the back wouldn't look right, would it? Also, isn't a 295 the smallest you should go with an 18X10 rim? Are they gonna make a 305/35/18 in the NT05R?

Im reading the 05R's are running a little wider than the 555's. I have 275's on all 4 corners and it doesnt look bad. Would look meaner with a wider tire but doesnt look bad at all

Yeah, but do you have them on an 18X10 rim? Makes a big difference!
