I used to watch this on speed tv. They courses are random they just have to make a certain number of turns and can't keep doing the same turn. The water is only like 18 inches deep... and most of the boats use a 350

I dont know if a jet fighter can change directions that quickly. Come to think of it, I dont know of any thing else that can.

Go. Watch rotax karting.. they turn on dimes... 60mph right hand turns that would throw a car on its roof
