I am looking to get my dad a radio for his mule for his birthday. I don't know how to go about it, because he leaves it in the rain and elements. No snow in south texas, but a lot of humidity. I looked at overtons catalog to find a waterproof one, but none of them said "Waterproof". I want one that is not going to be completely ruined by the moisture. I even looked at some of the covers, but they seem to only shield the deck, rather than seal it. Also, how would the speakers fare? Would I need to get marine speakers, and completely seal the wires? Anyone have any experience with this before? I really don' tknow where to start. thanks guys!

Well im not sure this will work but when i used to race nitro model RC cars..to make the electronics waterproof theres this stuff you can buy at any hobbyshop..what it is its like a gel then you heat it up it liquifies and then you just dip whatever into it and vwalla instant waterproof dunno if it will work but its worth a shot..id say get the deck cover..then coat the unit in the dip..and yeah go with marine speakers thats just my idea...never done it before.."http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000981AA2/yahoo-tools06-20/ref=nosim" heres the spray "http://garage-toys.com/plastidipblack.html" and theres the actual dip
