Kirban Shifter

Anybody have any long-term (or short-term) impressions with this shifter?

Kirban has been a very popular shifter for the Vette. I know Linn (Amazon Racing) has one in the '03 Cobra she races. She really likes it. If and when I ever get rid of my TriAx I would seriously consider the Kirban myself.

i bought my kirban shifter from amazon about a month and i love it...its a difference of night and day over the stock shifter...i really dont have that much extra noise either...the only issue i have with it is that when i shift into third my knuckles will hit the cd play and change the station or cd, that can be solved with a handle from mgw...other than that its great...

Can it be used with the stock rubber boot in place?

so, the position of the kirban is worse than the stock one? I mean, I don't hit my knuckles with the stock shifter, so this one must sit even further up?

thanks for the input I may get a shifter soon. I was thinking the common ones (triax-pro 50) but this one sounds good too.
