Searched the posts, but couldn't find any specific to my issue, plus there's just too many to search - Please direct me to one if anyone knows.

Spotted oil drips on the ground under the rear differential. Cant tell where it's coming from exactly, and I hate bringing the car to the dealer.

Is this a vent overflow or something and normal?

Thanks

My guess is it was overfilled. The same thing happen to me on a long drive.

I don't have track pack
But I fought a leaking diff cover
From when I first got the car
The dealer would reseal it under warranty
And it would leak again
Resealed it 2 more times
And it would leak

I bought a lube locker gasket from American muscle
Followed the instructions

Had to get ARP studs to handle 30 ft lb

And it never leaked again
I added a reservoir to the vent since I didn't have the track pack

Had the same issue on my Boss and fixed it with the diff catch can from Steeda. Also had some drip on my Shelby, but the dealer checked it and said it was overfill...I have not seen more drips.

I'll jack up the rear for a better look, maybe clean it off so I can get a better idea where it's coming from after another drive. Right now it's too hard to tell.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I'll post my findings.

Dealer replaced two seals, diff cover and oil cooler attachment seal. Service advisor told me it required computer hook up to fill the lines, and was not something you'd want to try at home.

The computer hookup is just to run the diff cooler pump to fill the cooler and lines with axle fluid when you do the fluid change. I believe you can jumper the pump relay to energize the pump to do the same thing.

Snoopy has also figured out how to make his car launch vertical using the launch control settings and orbit the earth once, He has not yet figured out how to get two orbits yet lol. Your tech skills still amaze me :)
