About a foot of snow here today, 50 mph winds, drifts, flooding along the shore.

This was my view for most of this afternoon plowing, and a few hours of white out conditions.

That's a hell of a plow!

We got around 10-12" on Long Island. I spent the day snow/off-roading/towing cars out in the tacoma. Around noon through 2pm visibility had decreased enough that we had our high beams on, fun times!

Winter 2010-2011 was the last one I experienced while living up in New England. Insane amounts of snow that year. I don't miss that one bit.

Very true. I was only 6 years old when we had that blizzard, but I do remember it.
Last night's blizzard was pretty brutal as well, but not as bad as '78. That was a whopper!

We got 12-13" here. Temperature is 8 degrees right now; -1 degrees expected tonight. And then warming up to 10 degrees tomorrow before dipping to -8 tomorrow night.

WE got 6 inches in Charleston but the DOT is all over it. Airport will be reopened by Monday.
