Need new steering rack bushings! Need help!

Well yes and no, the problem is inherent in the sleeve just passing through the one side of the K-member and not really being secured in any way to that front side. This is why your sleeve (tube) is rocking side to side. The alum bushings solve this by cutting the sleeves flush at the K-member's surface and press fitting all of it together, however the sleeves need to be cut precisely to eliminate any movement in the sandwich.

So I go and order the steeda ones to find out 3 days after i ordered them that they are on backorder. Just my luck!

Yup. I've had them for two years and many track sessions. Zero issues. Just follow the directions. No noise, no popcorn, no issues. They work great. :beer:
