I must have a shifter that is spring loaded to have a bias toward 1/2 or 3/4 so I can feel where I am. B&M's PRO Ripper seys they have neutral gate springs that can set side to side action as either light or stiff. Not good enough. Hurst claims it has patented adjustable bias spring load for ease of operation. I must know by feel what gear I'm going into. I have a stock 99 Cobra now and I'm weary of being surprised by what gear I end up in. Any suggestions?

MGW is certainly the most popular right now, but tons of folks have had great success with the Steeda Triax and the Pro 5.0. But I always thought the spring load bias was laterally based and towards the 1st to 2nd neutral zone. Have to check the MGW to see where the bias is.......
