Paint sealant application question

I used Meguiars NXT 2.0 tech wax but I only let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off with a microfiber towel. I watched an autogeek sealant application video just now where they said wait 45 minutes. I also found a post by a Meguiars rep (I believe) on a forum saying wait 20 minutes. Would it be in my best interest to re-wax the car ASAP?

the only thing you lost was the cure time. you wont hurt the paint, but you can still go back and re-wax, just make sure the car is clean.

The wax layer is either gone or too thin. Wait until it's dry or you're wasting your time, I usually wait 30 - 45 mins.

I usually just wax the whole car, then go back to where I started to begin buffing it off. That usually gives you a decent amount of cure time.

if the cure time is 20 minutes, you can buff right after you finish applying to the whole car, unless it takes you less time to apply the wax
