Painted to polished?

I just bought a set of 99 wheels that are silver and I was wondering if anyone has ever stripped the finish and polished them.

I just started messing around with some black saleens doing the same thing. I sanded the paint and primer off in 2 spots then picked up some aircraft paint remover to try and save my fingers but haven't used the stripper yet, I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can do it outside. From what I've done it looks decent but I haven't got carried away yet

You will be forever repolishing those if you dont put clearcoat on after. Shoot up some pics so we can see.
