I just moved into a new place and I don't really feel the need to hook up the internet to my computer since I have an iPad 3G. So my question is; for my PS3, could I simply get a Verizon wi-fi box with 5gigs for $50 a month be worth it? Or is 5 gigs not enough for "online" PS3 play. Would it even work?

For reference, I only play COD online, and it's driving me insane playing campaign and zombie mode with no internet.

Unless you have 4G in your area, I'm not sure you'll be happy with gaming performance over Verizon's EVDO ("3G") network.

Just an FYI, my father brough his Verizon portable wi-fi over that he uses for his iPad non-3G and it works very well. All green bars and 100% signal. But as many bits as it used, I couldn't tell ya.
