Question about parking tickets

If someone is parked in a "No Parking Zone" and a police officer decides to give the car a parking ticket but sees that it has no plates, what will the officer do since there is no way to identify the car?

VIN or Tow....

If no plates I always write the VIN on the ticket.......if I feel like it I run the VIN and get the owners information.....

No plates and no temporary tag, it gets towed.

The boot kicks in when you have a certain number of unpaid tickets.

Or if you are in a tow away zone and the tow truck is busy and the ticket agent(if not an officer) needs to move on!
