Restoring Recaro Seats

The full black leather Recaro seats in my EAP SVT focus are nearly perfect, except for the bolster on the drives side that you rub against getting in and out of the car. Can anyone recommend a product of some type to restore the leather and keep it protected?

To actually restore the surface to a smooth and shiny (or matte) surface you will need to use a "leather paint".
Or just take the bolster off and send it to Recaro to be recovered.

I was curious and did some research and found this website. Looks interesting. I may order some of this since I have a small cut in on one of my seats that I was eventually going to replace. This is definitely cheaper than replacing the seats.
