Hi All,

I am getting my car vinyl wrapped to protect whats left of the paint and the minor UV damage I have until I'm ready to repain the entire car. Anyway I have the stupid paint bubbles on the hood and I am really interested in buying the Seibon Carbon Fiber GT Style (looks OEM) Hood, because i Love the style of the OEM hood and Pin stripes.

I never had an external CF Piece before, so I was curious about what to expect in terms of fading/hazing. I hear you have to Wax coat the thing often, and there is only a 6month warranty.

Where i park is a Drive way that is not sheltered. I do have a car cover i will be using once the hood is installed.

Also is 1500 to paint plastic trim model expensive?

the newer CF parts should already have a UV protectant resin, but you can still have a body shop reclear it with the standard tri stage clear if you want..
