Gotcha Gotcha. So on a big boost, high comp motor, you don't need it hooked up to the intake because its already producing enough blowby to evacuate the gases without the intake sucking them out? Thanks for giving me the break down.
Actually it’s only plumbed into the intake for emissions purposes and to stop the engine from getting a mist of oil coating it in a production car. They want to burn the vapors as they have hydrocarbons in them rather than release them. Venting with a catch can on a “normal” motor saves you from ingesting oil and it coating parts such as the lower intake in the cobras and the front of the procharger / intake in some other cars.
