While it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, I think lowering the car a bit more in combination with those wheels and less sidewall, it would look much better.

"those tires are too tall" comments. If you use the 2000 Cobra R tire sizes it will look, handle, accelerate and brake better, than with those tall boys. Less rotating mass in a smaller diameter for the win!
