If I was going to move to one, I would pick Texas.
If I was going on Vacation, I would pick California.

Can't vote...never been to Texas.

I'd say they're comparable all things considered though.

I'm gonna have to go with TX. I do love looking out at the Pacific from route 101 though (crescent city area).

I couldn't have said it better myself. Cali is nice, but I could NEVER live there because of all the stupid laws and stupid people in charge.

California would be cool without all the liberals and the BS that goes along with them.

Also, it shows you the difference between liberalism and conservatism. California is in the shitter and Texas is one of the strongest states in the union. Texas and conservatives FTW!

Depends on which parts of Texas/California we're comparing. But, I'll take most of Texas over most of California.

+1 But I'll take most of Northern California over most of Texas... Southern California is pretty much a suburb of Mexico, we should just give it to them at this point :D

Northern CA is nice. I have family that lives in Redding, and I really love the Monterey/Carmel area and could see myself moving there if work required it, but I hate the politics of CA.

Southern CA has some nice diving spots too.

Texas. Cali definitely is the better vacation spot, but I'll be damned before I deal with the bs that their government puts on it's citizens.
