Things to do near Minneapolis

So ill be in Minneapolis for the weekend. Looking for ideas on what to do in or near the city. We already hit up Mall of America today.

Anyone know of anything fun for a pretty crazy family let us know.

mall of america is about it lol. theres a decent theme park...but other than that...nothing jumping out at me

I would definitely take a drive up to Duluth, Gooseberry falls and Splitrock lighthouse. It's about 3.5 hours up to Splitrock and 2.5 if you just go to Duluth.

^^^That's a pretty good list. What kind of stuff are you looking to do? There's a shit ton of options. Mall of America is pretty lame compared other cool things in the area, IMO. Car Craft is a must see if you have car people with. It's at the state fair grounds in St. Paul.

-Boulevard, Minnetonka, MN.
-Lions Tap, Eden Prarie, MN.(kick ass burgers)

My hometown area(Lake Minnetonka/Plymouth, Wayzata, Minnetonka) has some kick ass dealerships as well.

-Maserati, Bentley, Mazda.-Very eclectic mix of cars.
-Sears Mercedes-They have a somewhat hidden showroom in the building to the left of the dealer. It's worth a look to see the interesting cars.
-Lotus/Jaguar and the Porsche/Audi dealer are next door to each other.

Bring out the rental car if you get desperate. We can do some races. lol
