Considering the susp mods, I would pay $12k for it. But thats just me. Realistically, you will probably get what Quadcammer said.

folks, as much sentimental value as you have for these cars, keep in mind they are now 12 years old, and only cost about $26,000 when new.

Even though the car is high mileage, you can get into a 99 coupe for about 11k.

You'll have to find a guy whose really into corner carving to get into 5 digits, imho.

Really, I agree with quad but I do think 10k is doable even with the shitty market for these cars.

Just look at the foxbodies. Like someone said, they were dirt cheap at one point, all the teens that could now afford them either crashed them or drove the piss out of them, making good ones hard to find and the price go WAY up.

I think we aren't too far off from this happening with these cars, maybe 3-4 years from now we will have a much better market!

the market may improve in a few years.

But right now, we got sky high gas prices, a drastically slowing economy, and a lack of equity in real estate.

very difficult time to sell a v8 sports car.

id say 8 or 9 tops. it is clean and has alot done to it but none of that helps value. the markets a flop right now and as said the car is old. mustangs just dont hold value

Stick it at $11-12K and let it sit there for awhile (AKA autotrader). I'm getting bites coming into spring on my 97 coupe that's almost bone stock at 83K for the asked price of $10K. Had to wait over 3 months to get them, but good things come to those who wait. Don't sell yourself short :nono:

Why you wnna sell it. It's a very well put together car. I've always admired it.

i dont want to sell it, but if i have to i guess i will. things at work are very slow and i think im going to start looking for other work. i know im going to have to take a pay cut for sure and we have a little one on the way. so you know the rest of the story. like i said i dont but will if i need to.
