Those with METCO LOWERS your knowledge is needed.

To avoid a three page story I'll skip the preface...I need to know what bolts are used to bolt the triangular silver bracket of the Metco lower pulley system to the engine. There are three bolts and they have a 5mm hex head on them. When on the silver bracket they sit flush with the bracket.

I need to remove them to change positions of the idler. They are stripped. I will have to destroy them to remove them.

I want replacements ready when I do it.

Anybody know what bolt(s) I need?

I just went through the same issue recently.
Mine were rusted badly and stripped out easily.
I had to drill mine out and took the remaining studs to Ace Hardware and got new bolts.
Unfortunately I forgot the sizes but they were easy to match up.
