This is the same engine combination he has been running the past few years. It is a Brad Anderson HEMI with a PSI Blower and Bruno/Lenco transmission w/ Neal Chance converter.

The reason for building a new car was to save weight. In this class, the lighter the better and a few pounds can mean winning or losing. The new car has a ton of titanium and carbon fiber.

The car was build by Jerry Bickel Race Cars with a lot of input from Dan.

I wouldn't say a lot of people are jumping ship. Just more options now. It does look like XDRL really has it together though.

Those motors are 3,500+ hp. Some think they are approaching 4,000 hp. They'll have to go low 3.50s @ 210+ to win races this year in that class. We may see the first 3.4x pass in the next few weeks at the series going on in Qatar right now.

Well just saw where Frankie is going to run a full schedule and now Dan just curious. I love the adrl. Best racing there is IMO well now I guess this series to.

Yea, it is. I'm kinda bummed that all the top dogs aren't gonna be at every race. I'm interested to see how Pro-Turbo works out. I've already heard a few of the turbo guys saying they're gonna run PX instead.
