It is possible to mount them that way. It is a simple matter of removing the screen and installing the louver only.

The fasteners for the factory snake are behind the grille. It comes off as easily as you can put it right back on.

Tob is THE only person with these on their car currently. i have a few sets that will be shipping out to some people soon but so far just Tob here. i shipped him the first completed set so he could take his awesome pics of them on his beautiful car :thumbsup: i did post up some pics of them with and without the mesh screens in my own louvered hood vent thread but they weren't installed on a car/hood.

you know i have to admit, i was kind of thinking the same thing when i first had them presented to me. but i think they look WAY better when powdercoated in black and blend in with the frames.

yea man, the louvers look fantastic in satin black with the frames!


BTW, are we ever going to see that caddy mesh...? :-D
