Tuner went in and tweaked some things in the tune, and worked on it for a full day. He called me tonight and said it had made 784 RWHP, and wanted to know if I wanted to see over 800. Of course I said "Hell ya! I will be right over!". Added 2 degrees of timing and came up with this. I'm not gonna run this tune on the street on straight 93, I just wanted to see the number honestly. I may throw some 100 octane in the tank for TX2K, we shall see. This was on the same 17 PSI of boost, and a total of 18 degrees of timing at the top.

Big thanks to Jeff at Central Texas Performance

Stock longblock?

According to the previous owner. Haven't seen anything that shows otherwise.

Thanks  I am going to be back there Saturday to try and track down some electrical gremlins in the car.

Is your car the OW vert?

sure is...almost identical OWs, except for my 17in wheels

Yup I know the car! I might be picking up the true forged wheels he has too. I think it'll round out the car well.

damn nice numbers. What turbo kit/setup do you have? Build thread

Thp 57mm turbos, t56 built rear end, full coilover suspension return fuel etc. Thought about turning it up but might leave well enough alone.

Your motor is real efficient to see 17lbs and put down 800. Must be a sick ride!

Only thing I changed is I moved the wideband sensor closer to the turbos, and then had the tune gone through again. I have considered going the twin billet 62 route, but I have the car running great on pump gas. There are a couple electrical gremlins popping up but I am sure it is just a loose ground somewhere that I need to track down.

It was stock compression, stock crank just better pistons. Timing chain went and took out one of the heads so we ported those and put cams in it, yes pump gas. Made 952 on 110.

Which pistons are you using? I am thinking about building a shortblock for this car for a bump in compression. Might just bite the bullet and get L&M pistons.
