I have an issue that I've been ignoring for awhile, but a panic stop on the highway changed my mind. The ABS isn't modulating smoothly and the front wheels can lock under heavy braking especially immediately before the car comes to a complete stop.
I've got stock brakes with Ford pads in the front and ceramic in the back. I'm running Nitto drag radials in the back (295's on the stock rims), so the rear wheel measured diameter is slightly bigger than the front.
Braking performance is normal and the car brakes evenly until the lock up.
Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?
