Well yesterday started like a normal day for me. Wake up, get some grub, finish some christmas shopping, pay some bills and run some errands, go to the local chevy dealer get mezmorized and buy a Z06 Vette..... Wait..... Wut??? Yep i saw it sitting there when i drive by and said well ill just have a look, well that turned into negotiations, then a "test" drive (dont do it... thats what really ****s you in the head) and before i even knew WTF happened i was dropping off my Pristine and treasured 32k mile 630hp pump gas Whippled Competion Orange Cobra and trading it in for a 2008 bone stock Machine Silver Corvette Z06 with the 2LZ prefered package and 16.5k on the clock. Brand new Michellins all the way around, brand new brakes, EVERY fluid changed...... Sorry guys.

Nice ride man! I tried commenting on the last thead but you moved. Love both cars. Did you ever have the cobra emble, passenger side, replaced? It is facing to the rear instead of the front?

A C6 Z06 is superior to a '03-04 Cobra in every way! :shrug: Of course OP's old Cobra would outrun his Z06, but it is a heavily modified example. :bash:

+1, those factory ls7 heads have been known to have valve guide wear. Too many have dropped and taken out even bonestock motors

Thanks, not many plans as of yet cause I need to do some homework on these cars and see if theres anything that needs to be remedied before it causes a potential problem that i dont want to deal with. I do have a couple cosmetic mods in mind already though such as ZR1 skirts, Front splitter, wing, and black ZR1 wheels
