Wheel Backspacing HELP!

I have a line on a pair of 15x8 Weld Pro Stars locally for $100. The problem is they are 4.5 BS, and most people recommend 5.5 BS. Since the price is right, can I get away with a 4.5 BS and a 275 Nitto555R? Anybody have drag wheels with a 4.5 BS?

Any help is appreciated, and I especially want to hear from anybody with direct experience running a 4.5 BS wheel.
