Close.

96-98 Cobras are about 3375lbs, 03-04 cobras are about 3650lbs.

07, 08 GT500's are 3900lbs, 05-08 GT's are 3550lbs. All weights are for coupes.

where did you hear that the SN-95's were heavy? compared to what?? Maybe the foxes...

The terminators can almost tip the scales at 2 ton with a vert, while an SN95 coupe could easy be right around 3400.

the fact that everyone with a S197 puts 22" one peice wheels on their cars doesn't help either.

If you look at every other car manufacturer, they are all heavier than their last generation, not only that but the smaller models got as big as the next bigger sized car in their lineup

Ironically, people think the 70s cars are so heavy because they are big looking. My buddies Torino GT with a 429 (or is that 427?) and it is huge but weighs under 4000 lb.

Off topic, but..

22's on a muscle car = NO

And yeah, the "fat pig" deal was right on the money. A plethora of extra engine parts (aka a supercharger), a beefy transmission, and one genuine titanic anchor for an engine block. What I love, is that they still screw with all the extra weight. I love my sn-95 to death, but I admit, Terminators FTW.
