Stopped at the machine shop this morning. Asked to open the ring gap group to 20lbs of boost. Lol

You're not worried about those rods?
I commend your willingness to push the limits of those rods.We are gonna find out what they hold in a 4.6. Lol! This is not going to be a track sloot that gets beat on daily; so that is in my favor.
Only person I found that pushed them was making 850 through an auto with a maxed out F1a.
I have a man trans so that will not soak up as much power. I have seen the ringlands let go on Coyotes before the rods. So… I guess we gonna find out?
Look, I have two Teksid blocks sitting in the shed, one is a stock shortblock from an 01 Cobra. So, worst case scenario is that snap a rod. At that point, it will get Molnar rods, Shelby Mike timing upgrades, and I spin it harder than 7200 RPM on the same pulley combo.
We will see what shakes out.
For that WAP, Tyre was willing to change his pronouns to was/were.

I've gone back and forth on them for a while. The cost of failure will probably keep my from using them. I really don't want to window my block.
It always seems the ones that are willing to push or don't really care what happens never blow up. That happened to my buddy with his bone stock fox. He had the mind set of "if it blows, it blows". It never blew. Though I don't think he ran more than a 150 shot through it. But he wasn't nice to it on the track.
I have a gen2 coyote on stock rods and I'm over 1k to the tire lol and I race it regularly lol.We are gonna find out what they hold in a 4.6. Lol! This is not going to be a track sloot that gets beat on daily; so that is in my favor.

Even with the additional 20 grams on each piston I think you'll be fine as long as you don't spin it to the moon.Yes, but that is in a Coyote that is more efficient and the pistons are lighter.
The Gen 2/3 Coyote pistons are about 370g each versus 390 for my JE pistons.
Sure, the rods may never break at whatever the car makes. It may break quickly. I didn’t plan on this route exactly. So, the car will be a good litmus test and provide data for the people. Lol

What’s different on the race version?
Results??
Rods will not be an issue.
Choosing a centri blower? Meh.
Thought I taught you better.
