I put the JL Audio 570x's in the doors and they made a HUGE difference. I can actually hear the music clearly and cleanly with both windows down going 75 on the interstate.

I also sound treated the trunk lid and inside door panels and inside the door itself as well as all under the back seat (not pictured)

This made a HUGE difference in reducing road noise. Most road noise at this point is coming from around the shifter area.

Is there a link to a DIY for replacing the speakers?

Following your recommendations, I may just do this on Saturday.

Replacing the 6x8 door speakers is ridiculously easy if you get the speaker wire adapter kit. Pulling the door panel off is the only task that takes some level of thinking. Here's a good writeup on the process.

Is it worth changing out the rear speakers or will the fronts only make enough difference!?
I once heard someone change out the fronts and loved it, then decided to do the rears too and it drew too much power so it sounded bad. Almost like; one set of aftermarket speakers and the HU has enough power to run it, but add a second set of aftermarket speakers and it overloads the stock amps!?

Just a thought!

Stock 500 watts should be more than enough I'd think for a simple 6x8 swap.
