I know everyone has had good luck with the aluminum rack bushings stopping the annoying steering creak... But what about the polyurethane ones?

I only have the creek when I make lefts....this will fix it?

+1 I'm having it on lefts again. Stupid dealer took out my alum ones thinking it caused the creak when it was really a frozen strut. Haven't had time to reinstall, and poly would be much easier..

i think i'm going with the aluminum, my car does the same thing - and it's predominently when turning left, mostly when the car is stationary too.

do we need the ford sleeves if we get the MM alum kit?

Thanks! I'll give the poly ones a try.

For anyone doing this. Just do the aluminum bushings. If you have a moderate level of mechanical ability it will be no problem. It took me the first time about 40 minutes. I could probably do it now in 20. Very easy, very cheap, got rid of my creak, and made my steering feel like a sports car.
