Going to vegas. Need some ideas.

Hey guys, im going to vegas in 2 weeks and need some ideas of things to do.

Night life isnt really important right now as the nights are pretty packed with a concert and random drinking etc.

But, id like for something to do during the day.

Ill be there 3 days in total.

Anyone?

Man I just got back from Vegas.....well it still fells like I just got back.......I went the last week of Aug.
Go to Carnaval Court out side of Haras Casino.........drink the 4ft tall drink enjoy the bad ass trick Bar tenders.....and prepare to sleep for 12 hours!

Take a trip to the Shelby. They are up by the speedway. Better yet, I think that Hertz in Vegas still has a couple of Shelby GT-H's. Rent one and take to to the drag strip and violate the rental agreement. Not that I've ever done that mind you. :-D

I despise Shelby. I appreciate his past efforts, but throwing his name on the GT500 was such a shitty move, he is just a money hungry bastard IMO.

man, if you cant figure out enough to do to pack a weeks worth at Vegas just by looking at the posters in McCarren alone, you are a sad, sad person. First time we went our entire 4 day trip was planned out just waiting for our luggage.

If you havent seen them yet, i recommend Blue Man Group. Its insane. Ive been to 3 BMG concerts/experiences thus far and love it each time. The wildlife thingie at Mandalay Bay is awesome too.

you could spend all day just walking through their malls. I recommend also taking a ride to Red Rock Casino, its out of the way, but its a awesome casino and resort. My sister (well, basically) lives in Red Rock now and loves it.

btw, if you want to do any real gambling or machines, go to Fremont Street, their machines there are nice and loose. The Themed resort machines are usually pretty tight. I like to just chill with a 20$ and play a machine for a hour or so, and all the while getting free rum+cokes on the house, tip your waitress well and shell keep em coming every time.

I went there when I went to Vegas. It was actually a pretty neat experience.

I recommend eating at the Paris Restaurant midway up the tower. Great views of the strip and the Bellagio fountains. Good eats as well. Have fun.

Rent a nice ride and check out Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. That's what I did!

I think going to the top of the Stratosphere is a must. It is nice both at night and during the day.
Fremont Street(old Vegas) is a must as well.
For the rest of the time, walk the strip and have a damn good time. I would try and stay an extra day or two as well if I were you.

Ill be staying at the MGM Grand and going to one of the buffett concerts there.
