What's the Best Motor Oil to use in my Cobra?

I'm changing the oil on my 2003 SVT Cobra and was just kind of wondering what the best kind of motor oil and filter is to do this with? I was thinking about using Mobil 1 5w-20 Synthetic and a Ford Motorcraft Filter. But I don't know if 5w-20 is a good choice up here in North Dakota.

What do you guys recommend?

I agree. All fine picks. I used Mobil 1, Amsoil and the Motorcraft blend during the time I had my Cobra. I probably used Amsoil the most. It was just a bit harder to get.

Sometimes in the summer I use 5w30 synthetic Mobil 1...Its a bit thicker...

A lot of track going guys go this route in the summer.

Ok I'll run 5w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic in it. How much better is the Ford Racing Oil Filter than the Ford Motorcraft FL-802S Oil Filter?

XPR Royal Purple if you have the money!! Awesome oil, after I put in my Cobra I was shocked at how much queiter the engine was it was amazing.

Anyone have any feelings about the Royal Purple transmission fluid? I'm running that in mine now, so far no complaints. I know it's a love/hate relationship. Any haters out there and why?
