...as many know, I installed my 2.3L TVS / 3.0 upper with 4# Lower feed on the CORN this past June!! ...at that time I still had my stock manifolds on and I made 734 rwhp 689 rwtq...

Well, after installing my Bassani mid-length headers a few weeks ago, it was time to hit the Rollers again at Performance Dyno (Pete Johnson, tuner) in Loudon, NH ... and I was very pleased to pick-up an additional 19 rwhp 12 rwtq!!!!!

754 rwhp / 698 rwtq and 746 rwhp / 701 rwtq

Well worth the install!!! ....My exhaust also consist of a Bassani X-pipe & 3" Bassani CB!!

Pete's a great tuner & guy!!!!

Very nice numbers, would love to get a set of those headers, but I have maxed my fun budget with the clutch I needed. Speaking of which are you still on the stock clutch?

Thanks guys ... boost went from about 22-22.7 psi to 21.7 psi...so it did drop a little

Thanks for verifying that Tim. Those are fantastic numbers you got! I'm glad to see the boost drop because that verifies my hope of running a slightly smaller pulley once they are installed without raising the current boost I'm running (only 18psi), but I have no access here to E85, and have no desire to run additives or race gas.

Do you have an SCT tuner, or does Pete just reflash your ECU directly?

Jeesh, I'd be kinda dissapointed with only picking up 19whp. I thought it'd pick up way more than that. Guess it just shows how decent stock manifolds really are. if this was on a pump gas car or an eaton car I bet gains of only 5-10whp would have been had. Not worth it imo. But with all that said, 750+ whp out of a stock longblock engine is craaaaazzzyyyyy. I wish I could drive your car just one time Tim! But then again, if i did that i'd prolly end up maxing out my credit card on a tvs LOL.

about a 2% gain...what was the weather and tune difference between dynos? That could easily be attributed to cooler temps or less humidity as it could headers

Thanks everyone! :) .... The DSG currently has a Centerforce DF clutch in it (trust me, it is a good clutch!!!!)

The weather was about 10 deg. cooler then the last time I was at Pete's, but it was very humid yesterday ... rained most of the way home!

HP cost $$$ ... $600 plus a few beers for 20 rwhp....I'll take it!

I wonder what more (if any) the gain would have been with let's say Mac Longtubes, and then with ARH 1 7/8" headers.
