Just sharing my car , daily driver 14 track pack . 49k Miles was fbo NA cj for a couple years , dropped the cj and added a blower .

Mods are , 1 7/8 Kooks , Kooks 3 inch Cartless H , jpc over axles and gt500 mufflers . ID1050x , stock intake manifold , fore level 1 dual pump return , vortech v3 si w/3.6 pulley and JLT blow through , driveline I run a rebuilt Calimer mt82 , McCleod twin , aluminum ds , swapped my old 3.73s for 3.31s still running my Torsen.

Lund racing email street tuned it last week and today I swung by a dyno just to ensure it wasn’t too crazy in hp as I am bone stock long block .

We dynod in 4th because this dyno didn’t have the electronic brake needed beyond 165 mph ... and after two identical 4th gear pulls to 7500 we did a partial pull to 6800 in 5th to overlay and between the two gears looks like at this power level its about 20 off ... had we been able to pull to 7500 in 5th it woulda landed around 700 with the showing 565 tq

Red is 4th
Green is 5th

E85 only .. no pump in almost 4 years , this is my daily driver .

nice, did you try taking a pull with the inlet removed? Some people have made big numbers without that restriction on there.

you know , we didn't even pop the hood lol .... i wasn't after big numbers , i was after realistic numbers to determine if the power level would let me keep this intact for another 2+ years .... I mean i want to add a boss , 3.47 or 3.33 pulley with wg .... but the reality is that this is my daily driver so i want to push it to the limit that will still let me enjoy the car without hurting the engine too soon .

and i do not know enough to know what the limit is but i have a feeling i am tap dancing all over the line ....thoughts ???

running 10 psi at 7k+ .... and 21* timing ... my e85 is 85-90 year round

im happy with how well the car behaves , even traction above 30-40 mph is 100%

Impressive! What catch can are you running? Also have you every had it at the drag strip? 700WHP is a lot but with a good tune it looks like its living just fine.

car always pulled strong , made 467/407 NA @ AED few years ago ..... because of my torsen and lack of confidence in the driveline I have for now opted to run 305/35/19 NT05r out back , so when i launch i slip the launch to protect the drivetrain .... best NA was 11.6 @ 119 with high 1.6s around 2200 DA (SoCal) and 3900lbs with me ..... this is a daily and has minimal weight taken off it ...but i have about 150 timeslips at home on this car

unfortunately for me to run the blower at the track i will need a 6 pt cage , they are very strict in socal .... and to be ready for slicks i need to upgrade to 33 spline , true trac etc .... and possibly send the trans back to ben to go full race on it . So for now .... no track plans .

Thanks for the catch can info. Our cars are very similar. When I was on motor I went 12.0@118 with a high 1.8 sixty foot (Stock converter is no bueno).

I'm guessing a low 10/high 9 at 135+ would be a normal pass for your car as it sits now.

Awesome numbers ,have you run it in the 1/4 yet?

in socal the tracks are strict ... so i need a 6pt , and then i may do some soft launches on my 19 inch radials to get some 10s at low 130s ..... if i want to go full out i will need slicks and the differential wont take it ... so i am weighing my options

if i had slicks and confidence to launch say 4500 dumping it and wot shifting manual since i am heavy mid 10s 135 ..... 3900s lbs w/me

I use slicks at the track and have launched at 5k+ dozens of times without issue...yet. Well, one issue, slightly bent some wheel studs. Putting ARPs on to correct that and I’ll see how it goes from there.

my 14 is a track pack and the torsen i dont think will take the abuse on clutch dumps ..especially since it already has 130 track passes slip launching (already have bent 1 set of axles) ...so the odds of me breaking the carrier are probably pretty high ... so i upgrade before breaking . but i am not hitting the track anytime soon ... i want to add an 18 intake on my set up
