Why not just machine your heads and block for the build? I don't see any holes in the block and your heads are fine. If you really wanted to save money just buy someone's stock shortblock, clean your heads up, and slap it back together.

The heads were pitted so deeply that we were sure they werent going to be worth the machine work. if they are Then BossMan got a deal on here for 400 for the pair.

Wow! You need someone here to put together a build list for you, that caters to your exact wants and needs... Then get a quote on that.

You are correct in this but build list was like Goals because I plan on having the car for years to come wanted to have reliable 1000 horsepower street driven. This motor demands it. LOL and if I dont do 1000horsepower this motor will take the constant beating i give it with stock blower.

Congrats! Did they do the break-in or did you do it? I've been moving across town and haven't had time to mess with mine, I finally drove it after about a 2 month hiatus, I can't imagine 12 months. You have to be stoked!

I did the breakin which was sad and nerve recking , A brand new rebuilt rxt clutch, a brand new motor with Arh long tubes pretty much straight piped to magnaflows and a big cam.............., Every corvette every ricer wanted to race and my tune wasnt in it. Was hard to not just give it hell and send it....... but trying to come up with money to get the return fuel system installed before January, maybe not till feb...... This has been such a long journey........... From the day We offloaded it to the day I decided I couldn't Just let the car become a paper weight.
