I am thinking that I need to buy back my 1995 "Snipes" car?

First, I was originally about 3rd owner? I am not sure as all of the paperwork went to the 4th owner and then comes the 5th owner?

Anyway, I saw it FS at the recent HSR Mitty race. I have pictures of me in this same race.

I took a picture of it last weekend while never getting a price:

It's always tempting to try going back in time.

Sid,
It is much more complicated than that. I figured out how to vintage race the original IMSA Motorola Cup car.

Then some owners took advantage of it's vintage classification and added Roush Nascar engines in them which got them banned in the proper group.

I can't pay much more than I did for the car when I bought it here.

I found a lot of pictures that I made in 1997 at an IMSA race at Road Atlanta.

I also called the owner today and left him a message.

Here are the pictures of the #21 car (I have more if you name the car #):

Tom,
I think that I have a few pictures of you car.

I forwarded this car to someone else with the first option.

Nonetheless, I am shopping for a new Ford F-150 (I sold my old truck). The new truck will need something to tow. The newer performance Mustangs are nice, but I think they are over-priced in this market.

Doc,

Although I'm not in a position to buy or field my old #21, I would be interested in any pictures folks may have of it once it left my hands. I did come across a couple of low res ones from Austin TX from 2015, but would always like more.

If the seller makes contact and you make a deal, I have some additional parts from the rebuild that I came across a couple years ago that I could send your way.

Anyway, good to hear that it is still out there blasting around tracks :)

Don,
I have communicated with the current owner. I've always thought this car is special. I left it as that I currently have no garage space but will have some space at the end of the summer (the new shop going through the continual maze of getting permits).

Wow!!! Those pics are awesome. I'd love to see everyone you have but if that is too much to ask. I own the #26 and the #57. Thanks...

Good luck acquiring the #21...

Todd,
You are certainly the expert on these old cars. No doubt.

I have a storage situation (which is more than a storage problem). I know the car well since I once owned and raced it. This is a clone as you know.

Value?: My real 1995 Cobra R is maybe worth ~$20K (not that it is FS).

The #21 is less IMO.

I just pulled the pollen cover off the original car (yesterday). It drives like a new car. It's perfect.
