Going through my hoard of C58 and R58 wheels. Just got schooled on the C58 sets.
Chrome shell Japan
Gray painted shell USA.
I knew the R58 where that way including CHINA ones. Didn't know the C58 has two manufacturers origins.
Now which to keep and which R58 sets to keep. Sorry no pics of the R58 sets.

Keep the original Ford ones if you have them. As in the ones that originally came on the 95R.

Do all of your sets have the script on each side of the valve steam? I thought the knock-off sets didn't have have the script.

I have some new C50'S in the box that don't have the script. They are original Ford.

There was a short time towards the end of the run of R rims where Ford realized they could not compete with the cheap knock-offs. So, they sold those as well. In the silver there were R58 being the real ones and R50 as the knock-offs. The price was also very different. I believe the same part difference was with the chrome version. Ford was able to get the price down so it was competitive with the knock-offs and they dropped them after a couple of years and just kept the R58 version. The same with the chrome.
