Ok, I hate having those pesky AN "look alike" connectors on the end of a hose that hide the hose clamp inside as I hate doing things kinda half assed.

So I figured I'd make the stock ones work with AN fittings...

Remove the fittings from the hard line supplied from the factory by cutting them with a razor blade (disclaimer: not responsible for missing fingers):D

Cut the end of the fitting off... I actually ended up using a belt sander and made it flush so I didn't have to worry about cracking.

Deburr the inside and outside. I found a step-bit works awesome for all these tasks

After your deburred and smooth, tap it. There's enough material here for a 1/4 NPT tap. I didn't try any bigger because you can run a 1/4npt-6an adapter OR 1/4npt-8an adapter. Depending on what size hose you like

After all is done, make sure you use sealer on the threads. It shouldn't be pressurized(hopefully for your motors sake) but I wouldn't want any oil seeping out, after all, that's the purpose of the catch can right?

I did screw the adapters into the fittings and marked which part of the adapter would be pointing towards the opening in the fitting. I then took it back apart and cut a large "U" in it to help with flow. It wouldn't allow much crankcase pressure to vent if the adapter screwed too far into the fitting and the opening of the adapter was too close to the wall of the fitting. That would be no bueno... Ask if you have any questions

I'll post back up with what it looks like finished after I get my kit installed from CPR :dancenana: :burnout:

ALSO, Make sure you clean out the fitting and adapter before final assembly. Don't want to take the chance of debris getting into the motor.

And you may wanna use the two fittings off of the passenger side hose. KEEP YOUR DRIVER SIDE!! All of these guys on here running passenger side oil separators might have their stocker laying around if you want to go back to the stock PCV system...

Sorry for the late reply. Haven't put them in yet. These breather work well and I'll probably swap to a smaller, lighter battery and install a custom catch can near it. These are still sitting on the shelf
