I have a set of Kooks LTs and catted X waiting to be installed myself but I'm afraid about not tuning it afterwards. I've heard it won't run right and get awful MPG. I DEFINITELY didn't buy this car for good MPG, but if it's getting awful MPG then the motor isn't running right (duh). Not to high jack the thread but is a tune necessary for LT's?

$3000... I was quoted something like that from a very well known shop local to me.

Needless to say that when I do end up getting around to doing this I will be having my regular mechanic do it at a fraction of that price (assuming I don't just do it myself instead)

Local Mustang shop in the area is offering $400 for labor on header installs.

The $3K price is about in line considering all the parts that are being offered
SO this shop lets say charges 100/hr. for labor, the guy back in the engine bay is gonna have this buttoned up top to bottom in
4 hours? that's Quick..
