Sup guys, Code is p0302, cyl # 2 misfire. i just got through checking ignition system, coil pack wire and plug is fine and is getting spark, question is how uncommon is it for a injector to go bad? Or what else could be causing this to happen???

I have had a misfire caused by an injector. I also fought a misfire where I thought I had good spark but nothing I tried worked so I put in new plug wires and no more misfire. Can you log STFT and LTFT? The book says +-20 but you want them as close to 0 as you can get.

sorry it took so long for me to reply. I ordered a set of rebuilt flowmatched injectors, hopefully this solves my issue!

I had an injector go bad in my Mystic Cobra and caused a misfire code on cylinder 8.
All you had to do was check the resistance across the injector terminals. Should be between 10-15 ohms. mine was completely wide open which caused a misfire.

Its a little late now, but if you think an injector is the issue before droppin $ on new ones try swappin injectors around and see if the missfire follows.
