Guys - I have a dillema. I can get a 2011 in Sterling Gray w/ SVTPP for about the same price of a 2012 SVTPP, but the Sterling Gray is no longer available. Since I've read all the comments about black being a PIA to clean, and from my experience w/ my 300C SRT Black METALLIC (Which the metallic helps a bunch, but still a PIA).... What would you do.

Would you buy the 2011 in Sterling Gray for around 50K or the 2012 in Ingot Silver for around 50K. Can't communicate the exact prices or dealers, but suffice it to say the prices are very close. I have gone from favorites of Black, Kona, and finally Sterling Gray, yet now that I'm looking serieriously I only like the Sterling Gray or Ingot Silver. I need some advice. Would you get the 2011 or the 2012 based on colors?

A.) 2011 Sterling Gray STVPP
B.) 2012 Ingot Silver STVPP

Need 1 pic of each on the exact car you want to give my opinion.

Why would you buy a 2011 for the same price you could buy a 2012????

Color??? is it worth all the money you would lose as soon as you sign the paper!!! Bad enough they lose value as soon as the four wheels leave the dealer lot but why buy a "year old" car

One more for sterling gray. I *almost* didn't take delivery of my car to make the change.

But I may be biased since I didn't want another 'plain' silver car. My '03 is silver along with my wife's car.

The only reason I would think (am thinking about it) would be because I've been waiting for 4 years for this, and am worried that if I order this 2012 it would be delivered in June/July which is too late, and I have lapping events, and shows I want to attend in April / May... I wouldn't be able to wait until then, my head would explode.

I went to talk to the dealer w/ the 12' on order, and he said he has had it on order since 12/15 and will talk to his rep on Monday to see if he can change it to what I want, and keep the cars place in line for build dates (although he didn't have the build date yet.) I'm really crossing my fingers that he will call me Monday, and say the delivery date for his original order is March and they can change it to how I want it, and cut the deal... If he calls, and says "bad news", it starts the process all over, and your looking at 90 days, my only option will be to go back to the dealer w/ the 2011, and ask them to come down some for the depreciation I am taking on. This is tough guys...

On the colors, my wife didn't like the silver at first, but we put pictures up on the refrig, and she's starting to warm up. I liked the gray more at first too, yet the silver is definetly making me think. It seems to pop more than the gray, yet not in the way red or grabber does (which is a bit much for me as a daily driver). If I had a 3rd stall it would be red w/ white stripes SVTPP. Silver or Gray, still trying to work it out. (morning night and day...ugghhh)

Its hot.
The silver has just too much metallic for my taste. The sterling looks better with the perf pkg wheels.
