Annapolis to far for a cruise?
The only reason I go to Waldorf or surrounding area is to race at MIR. So I will be def. considering a trip on south to make a few passes.
Annapolis to far for a cruise?
We are CONFIRMED for Waldorf Ford on June 25th for the MACA 6th Annual Cruise-In. I told her between 9:30-10:00 AM for vehicles to start showing up and then staying until mid-afternoon. If I recall, that's about what it was last year in Silver Spring. Someone please update the event calendar on the first page.
They are providing a grill, water, burgers, and dogs. We may still want to compile a list to bring other odds and ends as well.
Waldorf Ford is going to put a notice about the event on their webpage also. Sounds like this thing can really get some momentum behind it.
If anyone has any questions that they would like to address to the dealer directly, you can contact Shelly Wagstaff <[email protected]> with any questions. She's been a tremendous help so far with gettnig all of this set up.
Do you know what the requirements and/or rules details are for that class?
Thanks
Gonna try to get off work on the 25th of June guys. I'd be coming straight up Rt.301. I am going to be needing directions tho to get there.
Cool. For an after cruise, I'd suggest a trip down to solomons. It'll make for a longer drive home for most folks, but we could probably find some fun back roads to take, and there are lots of good places to eat/grab a drink down there.
Other options are twin kiss (straight shot down 301..it's an ice cream joint), Berts, any Rita's location. Let me know what you guys want to do afterwards, I'll see what I can put together for a cruise route.
Noooo not further south haha. I am already ~2 hours south of the house when I get to Waldorf. My vote would be for annapolis! But finding a place to hand out once we get up there will be a problem.
Keep me poted!!
Oh waa. Every time I meet up with you guys in Silver Spring the cruises always go north. Now it's my turn, lol. epper:
However, I understand the concern...in this case it would be putting more people out than usual. What about a cruise up to the National Harbor? Lots of parking there, a few good eats as well.
