Not even players have a clue these days. I met Brandon Jacobs on Thursday and he said it's all good, that the lockout was over. I asked him if it's just a temp-deal, he was like "Nah, we can do everything now, full access"
Next day, judge reinstated the lockout.....
Nice. He's pretty big huh? You meet him at a club in Northern Jersey?
Bengals picking up Green and Dalton made them a solid team. Carson pretty much retiring and Chad not coming back most likely.
lol, you got a receiver with no QB to throw to him....
poor AJ Green, a good talent wideout on a piece of garbage team, and an idiot in Mike Brown running it, and another moron in Marv Lewis coaching it. what a cluster ****. it's like watching a train wreck, Bengals can't Bungle out of their own way. :lol1:

i just learned that tyrod taylor was drafted by the ravens. always liked that team and it'll be nice to see what a former hokie can do for them.
There's happy hour and then there's this.
Beef 'O' Brady's locations in both Florida and Mississippi have been running an NFL lockout promotion of epic proportions, where customers receive free beer as long as there's a lockout. The promotion offers customers a minute of free beer for every day that has passed since March 11.
This week, happy customers got 61 minutes of free suds on Tuesday -- the 61st day of the lockout.
"I just look at it as a marketing cost," owner Bob Thunelius told NBC Sports.
The free beer begins at 4 p.m., but Coors Light and Miller Lite fans beware: it's only and always Bud Light.
"Yesterday, we gave away about six free pitchers and luckily there hasn't been anyone coming in just to drink free beer," Thunelius said.
Not sure where I stand on the Cowboys draft. Wanted a corner, but from everything I've heard Smith is a proven lineman and great athlete. From there, it seems like gambles. I like Carter from UNC and I loathe all our running backs so regardless I like the Demarco Murray pick. The corner is supposed to be a value pick but he prove that to me in the regular season.
Broncos with Von Miller was a smart pick
Cards with Peterson was a smart pick.
Am I the only one who thinks Atlanta gave up a lot for a reciever who isn't AJ Green and unproven?
ps. didn't bother to spell check anything
Ray Lewis has a point.. or at least he thinks he does.

those "stupid ****s" are about to take those stupid **** owners to court. where they WILL WIN, and the owners will settle. now stop crying about people who make more money than you, and continue on practicing field goals
regardless, the owners are going to lose if the injunction goes through. because whether you, the owners, or this thread's resident field goal kicker want to face facts or not, the law is on the player's side. don't believe me? do some research on how the 1995 MLB strike ended. go look up how quickly the owners settled once the players won their injunction.
here's what will happen:
the injunction hearings start on April 6th, if the players win the injunction, the NFL is open for business, presumably under last years rules. that means the players will get their game checks come August. At that point, there's no reason for the players to give in, and the owners no longer hold the leverage of holding out until the season starts.
then the players file their antitrust suit. do you know what the penalty is if the owners lose the antitrust suit (they will). the players would be entitled to 3x whatever their claiming in the suit. if they claim last years total player salary, the owners would be liable to pay out 3 TIMES $4.4 billion.
.....but it will never make it that far. why? because a court will order the owners to open their books. the owners in response will almost instantly turn to settle in exchange for the players retracting their suit.
how do i know? (hint, if you research how the 1995 MLB strike ended you'd know)
and just to be clear. this is the only time i've been on the player's side on something like this. i was on the owners side during the NHL issues, and the MLB's issues. and when the NBA eventually gets to this point, i'll also be in favor of the owners. because that entire league is out of whack
