Erik, you going to tune my car? lol
that it did, been good to have a few days off and get to tune her. I did not like the previous MAF at all, OEM 05+ maf in a 5" tube is perfect.
thanks!
Erik, you going to tune my car? lol
Glad you're keeping the car Eric! Wish I could have found finances to buy that thing while you weren't sensible. Lol
I believe it may be time to switch
Erik, this is the MAF element I bought.
Lethal Performance GT500 Slot Style MAF - MAF - Induction - 03-04 SVT Cobra
Says manufacturer Ford. Will it be easy to tune with this sensor or should I go a different route? You're one of the very few who has experience with this twin screw.
Looks really slow.
im gonna drag your ass from one end of 190 to the next....... Mr. 5.SLOW :bash: See ya friday night at the GTG Stevo
Cool, Kevin said I need to go for a ride in your car if you are up for it.
that appears to be just an OEM sensor. will be just fine. there really is no such thing as a GT500 semsor, they are all the same, unless someone calibrates them, like VMP, PMAS, etc etc. verify the sensor is this part number: 3L3A-12B579-BA
if i were you i would just buy a used one out of an 05-10 ford vehicle, save u some $$. Dont get one from 2011 and up, as they appear to have gone to a GM frequency from what i have read. Any sensor from 05-2010 will be fine.
in a 5" tube, you will not need a mafia, there is so much room left to go on the stock maf it isnt even funny!
When's she going back on the dyno ?
That's the maf they recommend in the install instructions for the 5in tube, I will be picking one up for mine.
sometime this fall. too blazing hot now. car is pretty much retired until the fall comes around.
i have gotten it up to 960 AD counts spinning to 7100 rpms. still some room to grow!
