One thing I want to make clear is I do all my own work minus the tune. If I had my way, that would be done by myself but don't have the tools. However kdanner knows his shit and I have yet to see or meet anyone who can tune the auto's like he does period. No shop affiliation whatsoever. Just your average owner using what I have learned over the past decade+ to get it done. If we had the resources most shops do, who knows what would happen. As it is, this is a hobby.

Next time I hit the track I will invite you to come watch. I spent time racing in Ennis many years ago at TMP when I lived in Dallas. Now it its SAR.

Some of you guys are tool bags seriously. I have talked to quite a few people on this forum through PM's, text, e-mail and phone. I have even met people just randomly on the street to find out they are on here and I have either talked to them or they know the "big names" on here (quotations on big names is b/c this is a INTERNET FORUM and your names really could not mean any more than a squirt of piss to me) I am by no means a nut swinger and I cant stand people that are.

With that said like previously stated iv talked to people on the street from time to time. WBT dude I hope you are not like the guy I talked to at Ft.Hood OMG he was a ****ing tool. I am damn sure his car was FAST with the paxton or vortech w/e he had. BUT his car looked like shit and seemed to be hacked on. Association with people will indicate how other people are. Hopefully it was misrepresentation on his part b/c he was talking like he knew you and stuff. either way you come off as a deuch dude and im man enough to say this and not have any personal hard feelings. If i was still in texas i would run you and i have no clue what you have. if you beat me i would shake your hand and give you the respect you deserve from the RACE.

Shaun has done the best tuning I have ever had. Iv had 4 different places do tunes for me. For my mustang I used LUND and AED.... lund tune cost me a set of plugs b/c they fouled out. had to SCRAPE the build up of junk off my tips too. Shauns tune runs better, makes more power and is cleaner. Am I bashing lund? yea a little b/c he woudnt even look at a log for me to make sure it was the tune and not my car. Shaun took multiple logs and talked to me for like 2hrs before i got my tune and after that we talked a few more times. The point is that shaun went out of his was for someone he didnt know but was a customer and even proved some stuff to me. who else is willing to prove shit? so far its just shaun that iv seen but then again i dont troll on this site 24/7.

if you want to call someone out and they produce something in return then cut your losses and shut the **** up. sorry some of you let your small dicks get in the way of just manning up and realizing someone has something nice or faster or cooler.

I have an FXB7 calibration from Jon for it. Brad kept going off and doing tuning elsewhere, never said anything about coming by so I can flash his processor to FXB7, so I figured he doesn't want it. It's here any time he wants to get it though.

Again, why would I be mad? I'm not even in the tuning business. Yes, I have a couple of cars here(with both videos and timeslips) I tuned that both have run faster than what he can show a timeslip or video of. They both did it at heavier weights and in worse air. Not my fault the professional tuner hasn't been able to outrun the cars tuned by the amateur even when he has weight and air advantages.

He acts like it's some kind of black magic tuning these things. Likes to talk about TiCVT and mysterious "clips". I say they are way easier to tune than the older cars, closed loop at WOT makes it super easy. The engine part has always been easy enough, auto trans separates the men from the boys, that is the part that takes a LOT of time if you want to get it right. I think I'm doing pretty damn well when I get a stock longblock car to trap 127, no one else has. I covered every Boss 302 at the TX mile by 15 MPH this year, and that's a lot. I've certainly had plenty of inquires from people wanting me to tune their cars due to the performance I get. I turn them all down, not interested in being in any auto related business. If they were a friend of mine and local, yeah I'd help them out, but it ends there. Anyone else gets referred to one of the many people I know personally in the business.

My own car with the Boss engine, yeah, it's not up to snuff on the quarter mile due to the converter that is in it, it won't 60'. But I bet you can't show me any Boss that runs better than a GT once they are both tuned anyhow, I have yet to see any Boss 302 show a significant performance advantage over a GT unless they are untuned. I bought the complete engine new for $6k and don't have to think about durability, so I don't regret it at all. I just wish the processor would do something like 8500 RPM, that's what these engines want and the Boss will probably stay together doing it.
