So for a 02 gt when going to weld 15" rts wheels which fits better in the back? A 15x8 with 5.5 bs or a 15x10 with 6.5 bs?
Both rims fit fine, and the edge will work out to end up in the same spot, it really depends on the tire you plan to use on either rim that is the deciding factor for which will fit better.
I'm thinking of keeping around a 26" tall tire similar to my current 315/35/17 rears so I was looking at et street radials in a 275/50/15 or a inch taller 255/60/15. I just want zero rubbing with the best fit and look.
A 28' will fit just fine 275x60x15 works great on a 10" wide wheel.
Says my links changed for some reason.
I don't want to take any gear away and it's just a bolt on car currently so no need for a 28" tall tire.
OK then
What size rear tires?
Do the 275/60 tires tuck well and fit without rubbing the fender or needing to beat the inner fender? Mine is currently sitting on stock springs.
275/60/15 on an 15x8 wheel
On a 99-04 it should fit fine without modification especially on stock springs. If lowered it could rub the fender and cut up the tire. My fenders are not rolled and I'm on Steeda sport springs with all stock isos (about 1 inch drop in rear). I've only drive it a handful of times with this new setup (I have a front brake issue at the moment) but it hasn't rubbed once. So any lower than 1 inch and I would certainly suggest rolling the fenders so you don't take the chance on cutting your tires up.
Thanks for the replies. Your car looks awesome. Do the 15" front wheels clear the stock gt brakes without using a spacer?
