So for a 02 gt when going to weld 15" rts wheels which fits better in the back? A 15x8 with 5.5 bs or a 15x10 with 6.5 bs?

Both rims fit fine, and the edge will work out to end up in the same spot, it really depends on the tire you plan to use on either rim that is the deciding factor for which will fit better.

I'm thinking of keeping around a 26" tall tire similar to my current 315/35/17 rears so I was looking at et street radials in a 275/50/15 or a inch taller 255/60/15. I just want zero rubbing with the best fit and look.

A 28' will fit just fine 275x60x15 works great on a 10" wide wheel.

^ nice color combination, looks real good!

I just got my rts's recently. Waiting on my tuner to re-tune as I went to a return fuel setup so I don't have any good shots outside yet. Here are a couple of quick ones. 15x4 and 15x8.

What size rear tires?

I'm debating on going with the torktech 03/04 cobra blower setup and if I do the 275/60 would work out great so I might just go with it now so I won't be buying two sets of drag radials in the same year. I believe my car has 4.30s in it now. Stock 3650 running 60mph I'm taching 2,500. That's with 315/35/17 rears.

Do the 275/60 tires tuck well and fit without rubbing the fender or needing to beat the inner fender? Mine is currently sitting on stock springs.

On a 99-04 it should fit fine without modification especially on stock springs. If lowered it could rub the fender and cut up the tire. My fenders are not rolled and I'm on Steeda sport springs with all stock isos (about 1 inch drop in rear). I've only drive it a handful of times with this new setup (I have a front brake issue at the moment) but it hasn't rubbed once. So any lower than 1 inch and I would certainly suggest rolling the fenders so you don't take the chance on cutting your tires up.

Thanks for the replies. Your car looks awesome. Do the 15" front wheels clear the stock gt brakes without using a spacer?

I finally bought a set of weld rts wheels for one of my 02 gts.

Summit messed up and sent one polished front. Kinda glad it happened so now I know how the fully polished wheels look in person. Pics don't do them justice. They are a beautiful wheel for sure.

TONS of brake clearance with a 15"x4" front:

Tires are getting mounted tomorrow. Anyone contemplating buying the Weld rts wheels buy them! They are one nice looking wheel.
