John Lund vs VMP tune?

I have Lund email tuned bought from Evoperformance . Car run great since last year. No problem idling, accelation what so ever . After installing the tune, car felt different right away.

O I also dynoed on a mustang dyno, I'm sure a dynojet would have put down better numbers
I dynoed 590hp and 608tq with shell 105 with a LUND tune with 24degree timing. I ordered a NOS tune from LUND and got a responce and my tune within 2 days. Im going to spray a 125 wet shot with a Nitrous Outlet wet kit. Im looking for 700hp and 800tq with the stock eaton with the NOS. im trying to get in the 10's with the NOS.

Those are very solid numbers. With VP MS109 im sure I would make some big HP numbers also, good luck with the nitrous system, I'm going ported blower and E85 instead

I had both dyno tune my car, abeit different mods so can't compare numbers, but both did a terrific job, and never blew up my motor lol. I would go through one of the SVTP board vendors on a lund tune though, as they can get in touch with him easier than you can on your own.

Lund got my car tuned just right on his first try, unlike some other tuning vendor on here...

I've talked to Jon many times before over the years, but I've never met Tasca Ford's tuner.

BJ at VMP is one of the best CSR's you will ever talk to he goes above and beyond on these forums as well as other forums take that into consideration when choosing.

I went with a 125shot wet kit from Nitrous Outlet and fuel is shell urt105. I made 708hp and 803tq. I went with a NOS mini progresser.

Wondering if anyone knows if either of these (or all) tuners work on throttle control in proportion to gas pedal application. Id like the power to come from the tune and not just seem crazy because a quarter throttle at the pedal results in three quarter throttle body opening.

How the heck else would it be set up, pedal position dictates to the PCM how far to command the TB blades to open. TB balde position allows more or less air in, MAF interprets flow, PCM commands fuel and spark.

Good decision .. I am sure all VMP customers are happy.. ( i hope) .. Lund tunes also very good .. A new VMP TVS turned my 08 into a BRUTE.. No more Viper laughing in my face now... Thxs BJ and Justin...

I have had experience with both. I run VMP. I was treated great, they answered my questions and my car is running hard. I'll leave it with that.

I have heard of tuners changing the proportions of gas pedal to throttle body position ie; 25% pedal = 50% throttle body opening. Guess you've never heard of this. It would be the illusion of more power at a lessor pedal position. Again I ask does anyone know if either of these tuners use any of this method?
