After numerous videos and reviews, it seemed the best sounding (to me) quad style axleback on a catless H w/ longtubes is OEM 13-14 GT500s.
It has the best balance of deep aggressive sound but not as loud or raspy as the other offerings.
But one thing I hate about the OEM mufflers are the slash cut tips. You can't see them and I prefer the double walled tips like magnaflow and corsa.
I considered trying the OEMs and welding on some aftermarket tips for a easy fix, but when I look at pictures of the OEM design, a tip on each side is staggered at an angle. It would seem this prevent a clean job.
Corsa and flowmaster appear to be using 6 inch long tips with a 4" OD.
Anybody have an opinions or idea on this?
