I was just watching Rage on Netflix, and he appears to be driving a 40th anniversary mustang chasing some bad dudes but when changing scenes the car magically becomes a newer model on the inside shots once then back to stock in other shots. Interesting little mess up imo

All taken from the same chase which spans a little over 2 minutes

They did the same shit in brick mansions. It was clear as day too if you're familiar with the s197 interior. They were driving a damn delivery truck and the interior became a s197 interior in one of the scenes.

I've caught stuff like this over the years. Lots of gun mistakes too.

I'm gonna have to take a look at that, serpent.

Kinda on topic, I was playing Last of Us: Left Behind and, in one scene Ellie needs gas for a generator, so she gets it out of an 18 wheeler. I was like, "this ain't right...".

In the movie Unstoppable during the scene where the welder guy is racing up front of the train to get the guy on there to stop it they do a quick scene of how fast he is going and it is a shot of the speedo from eleanor in gone in 60 seconds

That's funny, I thought the s197 interior and that of a delivery truck are one in the same....

I don't know for sure, but I think they do it on purpose. Maybe to distinguish which "takes" to use. I don't know. Just about every movie or tv show has these little mess ups so it has to be on purpose for a reason

This often happens because the film makers forgot to get a shot that they need and the editor is left to find something to fill the space.

That would make perfect sense except for the little mess ups like for example the King of Queens tv show: Doug had a red Gatorade on the table he was drinking and next shot his Gatorade was blue. It's not hard to keep the Gatorade flavor red.

Movie on Netflix called born 2 race shows the bad guy driving an '11 5.0 then he ends up flipping it at the end and while it's in the air it turns into an 05-09 Mustang.

someone drank the other bottle of gatorade and they replaced it with another bottle. just they didn't have another red one on hand.
