There's no number on the website. I'm going to check my sales email to see if there's one on there. I checked their Facebook page and didn't see one either which I thought was a little odd.

Nope...not one there either. The crappy thing is that on the 12th I tried to order and the cart got messed up. I sent an email to the bossfloss guy and he responded with how to fix it within a couple of hours. I emailed them three times since then and nothing. I'm cancelling the order through PayPal to get my money back.

Thanks for trying to find it. I'm going to order from TMWPerformance. I have gotten a short shifter and knob from them before and they are a top notch company and product. Serves me right for trying to spread the wealth across the US Made companies.

I see back and forth with the flossy company. did you order any kind of engraving? I do like the looks of the flossy the best.

I didn't order any "Custom" options at all with my order. This is crap. I checked today and still no response from Chad in PayPal either. He sure was quick to respond when I was having problems getting money into his hands. As soon as I did he burned me. I'm in Germany so it's not like I have a way to track them down. If I were there I would.

Cart issues..

Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2014 09:25:49 -0700

Hello Steve-
I apologize for the issues with the cart!
If you add another item of any kind to the cart, it will bring you to the cart page. You should be able to delete each item individually by clicking the remove button on the right side of the page. Once complete, you can go through the checkout process.
What discount code were you trying to use? Normally, that is one of the last things you do in the checkout process.

I emailed him on the 17th of Sept

Hello,

Just wondering if there's a shipping confirmation for my order. I think the order number is 4583. Once I get the knob installed I will take some DSLR shots and send them to you. Have a great day.

Steve

7 Oct with the order email attached and still no response...

Chad,

I ordered the Booberry knob for my 2013 Mustang almost a month ago. Please send me some information as far as shipping or the status of my order or I will be cancelling the order through
PayPal to get my money back. If you could include a phone number that would be great as well. Customer service is everything in the aftermarket parts business as you should be well aware of. Thanks for the time. I would hate to have to cancel my order and respond with a negative review.

Steve

> Flossy would like to ensure that your experience with us is exceptional, and we ask that you: PLEASE DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN FLOSSY KNOBS, AS SOME FITMENTS ON SHORT-THROW SHIFTERS DIFFER FROM OEM. IN ADDITION, SHORT-THROW SHIFTERS ARE TYPICALLY 1.5" OF THREAD, AND FLOSSY KNOBS ARE .8"-1" DEEP, WHICH CAN CAUSE THREAD DAMAGE IF OVER-TIGHTENED ON SHIFTER. LASTLY, IF YOU HAD A CUSTOM ENGRAVING PERFORMED, FLOSSY CANNOT GUARANTEE PROPER PLACEMENT (IE: SHIFT PATTERN) AND DIRECTION; THIS IS DUE TO THE SHIFTER THREADS BEING DIFFERENT ON ALL CARS. TO ALIGN THE PATTERN/GRAPHIC, YOU MAY NEED A LOCKING NUT.

Flossy reserves the right to refuse engraving images that are deemed offensive, prejudicial, and/or at the discretion of the management. If you didn't buy a shift knob, please disregard the above statement(s).

Lets get this thread back on track. I bought the car with the 8ball knob already on and I didn't like it. After driving it for awhile, I've tried 3 other knobs and just keep going back to the 8ball due to the size. (insert I love big knobs joke here)

If you haven't checked out TWMPerformance then you should if you want a great quality weighted shift knob. As soon as I get my money back I'm getting one from them again.

Sorry to hear about the poor experience with Flossy! I contacted them for ordering info, because the Mustang isnt listed as an option during purchasing. I originally wanted their Greyness Heavyweight knob but they said it was a month out, so I went ahead with the black one. I had to be persistent with emails, but always got a reply in a day or 2. Overall my experience with them was very good.

They never emailed me back when inquiring about shipping information or the status of my order. I just received this through PayPal though...

We are very sorry for the long and ridiculous delay on this order. We had to make more of the Booberry Shorty knobs, and that process takes quite some time. That being said, we should have been in contact with you, and for that we apologize. The knob was shipped priority mail, and it will be to you soon. If you would close this case upon receiving it, we would much appreciate it.

I also received a shipping email from them with a tracking number through USPS. It's a shame that the only time they responded was through a dispute via PayPal. I sent a note back to them through the PayPal system dispute saying that they should keep their paying customers informed of the whereabouts of the merchandise that was purchased so as to avoid things like this in the future. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Hope yours works out for you.

Finally got my shift knob from them. It wasn't packaged well at all. It was inside a Flossy box which was inside a soft Next Day envelope that was padded. There was a ton of Post It notes inside as a buffer which didn't do much. Once I opened the box the knob had been rolling around inside getting scratched up. It looked like it had gone through about 100 auto car washes. I installed it and it is nice. I had to buff it out to get all the scuff marks off. On a side note I had to sand a band around the middle, polish it and then wax it. I mistakenly tightened it too much and it got stuck on the shaft. I needed a 3/8' spacer on top of the CJ adapter. I was trying to tighten it down to the adapter and cross threaded the top 1/4" of the threads. Steel knob, aluminum threads. I had to use a damn pipe wrench to get it off. Looks super custom now.

Shop elsewhere and don't be dumb. I was dumb for about 10 minutes and it cost me about 2 hours of fixing.
